Above are three of the print ads that Nike has released as part of their “Write the Future” campaign for the 2010 World Cup currently being played in South Africa. Wieden + Kennedy is the lead agency on this brilliantly conceived and executed campaign. Minor problem is that some of the players depicted as immortalizing themselves during the competition have already exited with their teams in the early rounds. And some of their performances have been more forgettable than the stuff of legends. No matter, the campaign still scores.
