Above is South Africa’s first augmented reality campaign that I am aware of. Put together by Saatchi & Saatchi Cape Town, the campaign was a live event which involved the client, Wordsworth Books, and the nearby Apple retail store. Augmented reality is still very new and the WOW factor is high, making it ideal for campaigns like the one above. Over time I expect it to become more integrated into everyday brand communication especially in industries where the consumer engages the brand “face-to-face”, such as tourism and retail.





Ill be doing this for my 4th year graphic design course next year. I sorta know how to code the things. i just need to figure out how to make the public view the things without owning a web cam and going to a specific site each time to download it so you may view it.
